The toughest testing requirements for snow
helmets are currently imposed by CE-tests,
including impact damping capabilities, effectiveness
of the strap system as well as range of
vision.
To simulate optimum realism, helmets are
conditioned at +50....C and -20....C for
4 to 6 hours each, exposed to water spray
for 4 to 6 hours and UV-light for 48 hours
prior to testing.
All ALPINA helmets comply with the latest
European CE EN 1078 standard.

The twister, the flame and the lips are particularly good for children around this age. They are especially light weight (especially the twister).
2. How do I measure my head ?
To find the right
helmet size, simply measure the circumference
of your head where a hat would sit. i .e. just
above your eyebrows. Sizes are in centimeters..
